I am NOT one of those people

I just realized that 3 of my last 5 posts mentioned the cats. How embarrassing. TubaDad -- do you see what happens when you go out of town and leave me to my own devices? That's right, I take one scary step closer to becoming one of those crazy cat ladies you read about in the paper. You know the ones I'm talking about. They have tiny designer furniture for their animals, dress them in seasonal outfits, and talk babytalk to them. That's it! I am gathering my shreds of dignity around me and returning this blog to its formerly scheduled programming (babble about adoption and chocolate, of course).
