Late-night Olympic viewing

One big difference between the girls is the amount of sleep they like to get. Little Ree LOVES her sleep. She goes to bed at 8pm and is out cold minutes after her head hits that tiny satin pillow. She also naps well -- on a short day taking an hour-and-a-half nap and on a long day a three-hour one. Ro, on the other hand, takes about an hour-and-a-half nap, but doesn't really fall asleep at night until 10pm. She goes to bed at the same time as Ree, but can be awake for hours, lying quietly in her little bed, contentedly chewing on her purple baba (octopus) and sometimes singing or chatting to herself. Self-timer shot of Ro and I staying up late to watch the Olympics

Since she's awake anyhow, I sometimes sneak back upstairs and ask if she wants to come downstairs for a while. She always gets the biggest grin on her face and tiptoes out of her room and past Ree's door with huge exaggerated motions. It's cute.

Here we are watching the Olympics last night while Ree snored away. I precariously balanced the camera on a couple of pillows and flipped on the self timer.

And here are a few more recent sets of pics: * Taking a power walk, toddler style * Curious pics from TubaDad's cellphone * Picking fresh apples (and other stuff) at BobBob and Wela's house

TubaDad is finally home from his 4th business trip in 5 weeks, so I'm breathing a massive sigh of relief, cracking open a special bottle of wine, and relinquishing my title of "Crabbiest Woman in the World."
