Oh it's so terribly sad, snowman has the stomach flu
For the record, the girls were pukey back on the 4th of July, over SIX months ago. And stomach flu is still, for some reason that escapes me, one of their favorite games to play.
* Yeah they were playing outside tonight in t-shirts and flip-flops. It has been oddly hot here lately.

I'm jealous of that weather you have! It was 44 here today and we went for a long walk with jackets on. Love the throw up game...kind perplexing...like when Eliza says poopy one million times a day and thinks it is SO funny!

OMG that's totally hysterical !! Aren't the kids the most amazing creatures on earth ... you should write a book one day :) The girls are so funny and it looks like you're having time of your life lol !!! Their ideas, and games they play totally crack me up everytime i visit your blog
ReplyDeleteIt is 23 where I live in the midwest and it is supposed to get down to 3 on Thursday am.
ReplyDeletelove your blog

Look at that expression on Ree's face!! She looks so sad that the snowman are sick again!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Carla
That is so funny!!
ReplyDeleteI am totally jealous of your weather.....we are expecting a high of 18 Degrees on Friday...the temperature is dropping rapidly...I have been dreaming about my flip flops, but I am afraid it will be many months before they make it out of the closet!!
Enjoy that beautiful weather:)
Lisa
What a funny game! Marie looks so forlorn in this picture. Is she sad for the sick snowman?
ReplyDeleteThey are too cute for words!
ReplyDeleteAhh, flip-flops. I gazed at them longingly at Old Navy the other day. Enjoy them girls!
ReplyDeleteFor the record, it will be below zero with wind chill factor by Friday where we live!!
That picture is just so funny...priceless expressions :0)
ReplyDeleteYeah, t-shirts, heh. It's going to be -5F here tonight.
Oh, I was playing with snowman yesterday. I hope I don't get the stomach flu, too! No pretty bucket to use at my house.
ReplyDeletewela
Heh...the look on Ree's face is priceless! Looks like she's at snowman's funeral (which would be held around a puddle) rather than the stomach flu. Poor snowman!
ReplyDeleteYay for warm weather. We're freezing our butts off here for the next few days so it would be great if you could keep that warm weather happenin for the next month or so.
Hope snowman is feeling better soon.
Yeah, between our cat that gets sick a lot and the stomach bug bug my son had a few moths ago he love to "puke". Or play "kitty" witch is the same thing. He will even get up out of bed, run like mad to the bathroom and then pretend to puke in the toilet. He thinks it's hilarious!
ReplyDeletePoor little snowman. And they both look so sympathetic - it's so cute!!!!
ReplyDeletePlease pass some of that oddly hot weather to Atlanta. It's supposed to be in the teens tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteIlene
Hehe, I love how everyone is complaining about weather in the teens. I'm in Minnesota, and it's -19 today, -37 with windchill.
ReplyDelete:D Enjoy the nice warm weather, everyone!
Oh, and the girls are, of course, the cutest things ever.
Just wait until they get the stomach flu again. They'll stop thinking it's fun REAL fast.
ReplyDeleteWe had a throw up situation on a boat this summer and we are still playing sick babydolls. She get a kleenex and a trash can. Good news for me was she threw up all over daddy as I was outside fighting off my own seasickness!
ReplyDeleteThe look on Marie's face. Priceless.
ReplyDeleteSo when snowmen have the stomach flu, do they throw up...water? Or ice? Just wondering.
ReplyDeleteAnd Ree's face is absolutely priceless.
Wow. I'm not sure if the W.O.W. is for them remembering the stomach flu from 6 mos ago or for the weather.
ReplyDeleteCan you send some heat our way? Its 8 degrees here.
At least the snowman had the good sense to make it to the bucket.
ReplyDeleteIt's 82 down here in S. Cal. Pulled out the warm-weather clothing for a few days.
These two crack me up with their antics! What a hoot, where do they get these ideas?!
ReplyDeleteSo now you have me scouring the catalogs I get for yellow clothes too! Land's End has some super cute stuff right now that would work for Rosie and Ree. Especially the brown/pink/yellow butterfly collection. Oh and I have to say I LOVE their down vests (juicy yellow and hot pink)! I have even been know to wear my 10 yr old son's vest now and again!LOL

I thougth it was odd that the girls were in tee shirts!
ReplyDeleteI thought the "buckethead" had made them sick!!!
That picture is hilarious! I know my three-year-old is fascinated by bodily functions and how it all works...
ReplyDeleteMaybe you've got a couple of future nurses there! They sure do seem to empathize with their patients.
ReplyDeleteLOL, hopefully the girls will never have to relive such an intense stomach flu themselves. If role play is what wards it off then I say go for it. ( besides snowman puke is easy to clean)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just amazing the memory of a child!!!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter calls snowman a show no man!!
Your girls are just too cute!!!
Haa Haa Ha Hee Hee Hee! Maylin always talks about the one time she threw up...in my bed. I don't know why she remembers. Apparently kids are truly fasinated with bodily functions.
ReplyDeleteThat is so adorable. I have never seen a child playing stomach flu with a snowman! Maybe she is destined to be a doctor or a really great mom someday.
ReplyDeleteFor the record it's below zero here also. But I'll tolerate as I think of your MN commenter. I can tolerate the snow but I do dislike being cold.
ReplyDeleteTraci
Oh they do look so downtrodden (is that one word???)...what empathetic little twinadoes!!!
ReplyDeleteKate
THIS had me absolutely LAUGHING when I realized WHAT the girls were doing!
ReplyDeleteoh that poor snowman.
ReplyDeleteand it's been unusually freezing here in florida. 30 degrees last night. i'm like, WHA?? someone buy me long underwear i don't understand 30 degrees in these parts.
Could they get any more creative? I love their imaginations and the stuff they come up with!
