She's walkin' on sunshine
The yellow packages o' joy have started appearing on the porch and Ree couldn't be happier. Ro's pretty dang happy too, because now she has ALL the pink in the closet to herself.
Here they are, Miss Think Pink and Little Miss Sunshine, ready to head out to a friend's birthday party:
This first yellow outfit made Ree grin like mad and practically float when she walked:
This one made her say "Wheee, I yuv yellow!":
This Gymboree Daisy loot was the first stuff to arrive. I can't believe what a great sale they had going on! (The shoes are from Zappos):
Then the girls got a little pink and yellow lovin' from the grandparents:
There are a few more packages slated to show up with our EBay "winnings" and some pink and yellow items from BabyGap and Children's Place. Or was it Old Navy? I'm kinda losing track at this point. Eeps, sorry TubaDad. The good news is that it was all heavily on sale, and we only got them one toy each for Christmas, so we're actually coming out ahead. Yeah, that's it.
Thank you to everyone for the awesome shoppy links, you guys seriously came through for us, and you put huge smiles on Ree and Ro's faces. Here are a few more pics from the week, including some with Ma and Pa, who are visiting from Texas.

ReplyDeleteWhere did their aunt and uncle get the yellow smock? I want one for Loren!
ReplyDeleteYummy yellow! Way cool and will be terrific for dreary winter days and sunny summer days. They have such good taste. They must get it from their momma. :)
ReplyDeleteHow cute and cheerful! I love their big grins.
ReplyDeleteLove all the cute clothes. Just in case you are not all yellowed out I wanted to alert you to a big sale at www.crazy8.com. Search "Yellow" for some cute items at 60% off. Sorry Tuba Dad!

Gymboree is so addictive, isn't it? Packages just kept appearing on my doorstep over the last month. I don't know how they got there... hee hee...
ReplyDeleteAnytime anyone advertises free shipping, I am THERE.
And THEN--I ended up going to the actual store and buying the stuff that I took out of my cart because the total was so high. LOL
Your girls are so beautiful in yellow and pink!!
I am just swooning here over all these little girl clothes, oh my gosh how I want a little girl! I love my boys to death but I don't have nearly as fun buying their clothes as I do when I buy for my nieces/friend's daughters!
ReplyDeleteI actually just bought a lot of the Gymboree Daisy said for my niece, I swear my sister barely has to buy clothes for that kid because I buy so much :X
Glad you were able to find so much for her! And doesn't it just melt your heart when they hold hands like that? I can't take all this cuteness!
suddenly now I want to buy baby E a bunch of yellow outfits!! i am thinking i don't have enough YELLOW in the closet... adorable.
ReplyDeleteLoving the yellow for Ms Sunshine!
ReplyDeleteYou'd think with a sweet little shortie living in my house I'd be immune to the cuteness of little girls, but NOPE! That first picture getting ready to go to the birthday party makes me want to squeeze them!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute clothes and adorable models! What fun that ma and pa are visiting!
ReplyDeleteLaughed when I read that the girlies took of their skirts while mamma was occupied. Sliding in tights is so much fun!
Happy Birthday G! What a great place for a party! It's neat that mommys and daddies get to play too!
Looking forward to more sunshine and pink fun!
Awesome! I am so glad she is happy! With that big smile and in that yellow....she is definatley a ray of sunshine.
ReplyDeleteMellow Yellow....how cute is that!
ReplyDeleteAnd the best part is now we can tell them apart!

ReplyDeleteBelle was into orange for awhile. It was crazy. They don't have a lot of orange clothes out there, at least they didn't when she had "orange-fever". NOw she's into red. Sigh. Fickle, fickle, fickle.
