Fashion challenge friday

It's time for Fashion Challenge Friday, when we check out the outfits that the kiddos put together on their own this week. This week the girls chose (drumroll please)... pink and yellow!! Oh man I can tell everyone is reeling with shock. Heh. Ro wanted lots of layers "Case I get cold, mama" and went for a long-sleeve shirt under a tank top and a skirt over pale-pink pants (everything tucked in, of course). Ree went for yellow with a little cardigan and a piece of yellow yarn as a belt. Cute. Both girls chose their Polliwalks shoes, which have been ignored lately. I think the Jellies are out of favor this week because the girls don't like the way their feet get dirty in them. DSC_8440LRs Next week I'm going to hide all of the pink and yellow clothes and see what happens. (Mwah ha ha, I am so evil!) All of Ro and Ree's past Fashion Friday outfits can be seen here. Now it's your turn! Share the grins and share a link to an outfit that your kiddo put together! Fashion Friday is now a regular weekly feature, so grab your camera, turn those kids loose in the closet at least once a week, and show us what happened. 1. Mahmee 2. Tonggu Momma 3. Hotomom 4. 4. Oh no, they may go into color comfort withdrawal.

Adorable, as always. And love the crocs. I almost bought some yesterday. I think I'll go back and pick them up!

  5. Glad they've settle in back home. We saw a pair of jellies at Ross for Caroline, but we were both disappointed they didn't have her size. Wah!

They are adorable as always and the color choices help us readers know which is which :)

  7. I thought this may be something you would be interested in (http://www.whatsminawearingtoday.blogspot.com/) it's a blog about a 10 year old who loves to put together interesting outfits (thought I should leave a description so you didn't think it was some weird porn sight or something:)

  8. Hey, welcome home!

I'm curious to see what your kiddos come up with next week when their two favorite colors are mysteriously missing from their closets! Hee hee... It would be like taking Maddy's tutu and wings away!

No entry this week for us since this mean mommy has been too busy to let them dress themselves (it adds 20 minutes to our morning and creates an extra load of laundry!)

    Maybe next week...

    ;)

That picture is so characteristic of their clothing preferences - and their charm.

Ro without pink? Hard even to imagine!

  12. Clearly my daughter has taken fashion lessons from your girls (or vice versa). I was wondering where she learned her fashion sense!!
