1000 days. Wow.
When we got up this morning, we said "Hey little girls, did you know that today we've been together as a family for 1000 days?!" Ree said "Wow!" Ro was more interested in counting how many Donettes were left in the bag, so she didn't say anything, but I'm sure she was impressed as well.
Happy 1000 Days, little sweeties, we love you.

Today is 5 mths having Carys home with us!! We share a lot of special days together!!! lol (Charla and the twins have the same b-day! I'm secretly hoping Catherine's Hannah is an Oct baby as well!! lol)

ReplyDeleteHi, Salsa in China! We adopted our April on the same day as you adopted your girls, Oct. 24, 2006. We think today is day 1000. My husband did the following figures:
ReplyDelete7 + 30 + 31 = 68 for 2006
365 for 2007
366 for 2008
68 + 365 + 366 + 31 + 28 + 31 + 30 + 31 + 30 + 20 = 1,000
Actually today is day 1,000 (7/20/09)
Maybe they are adjusting for the international date line. (+1 which was yesterday)

Happy 1000! Actually, I noticed when your counter said 999 but I really just assumed that it was stuck on 999 because it wouldn't go any higher. Seems like a million days since your family doubled in size!
