Any guesses as to where I found them?
I'll post the answer and the zoomed-out picture tomorrow morning...
In the meantime, here's a totally unrelated story that I keep meaning to jot down. TubaDad was putting Ro to bed the other night (I was in Ree's room) and he asked her to tell him a bedtime story. She was more than happy to comply and said "Once upon a time there was a little girl named Ro, and she climbed a big huge tree and got stuck in the tree and yelled and yelled but nobody came, so she slid down, went in the kitchen, and found her mama. The end." I nearly died laughing when he told me the story later, and then had to tell him that it was actually a true story and there was a little preface that she hadn't mentioned. Ro and Ree had climbed the massive tree in the backyard when the phone rang. It was America's Favorite Home Videos calling to ask about a clip they wanted (more on that later if anything comes of it). Anyhow, I was talking to them when Ro pushed Ree out of the tree and she fell hard and started screaming. I rapidly got off the phone, grabbed Ree and ran into the house, and administered lots of ice and even more hugs. About five minutes later, Ro stomped into the kitchen all pissed off and complaining that Ree had knocked the "ladder" (a lawn chair) away from the tree as she hurtled to the ground (ok, she didn't use the word "hurtled", I just felt like adding that) and saying that she couldn't get down and I should have come to help her. She was so indignant and I nearly bit my lip in half trying not to laugh. I had to swear over and over that I didn't have any idea she had gotten stuck in the tree, there was just a lot going on and I was trying to deal with Ree as quickly as possible. Oh man...

on the roof
ReplyDeleteThis is a good one ! ! I think they climbed the ladder trying to take the christmas lights down, helping BobBob of course.

I am going with roof beacuse of the treeline in the back!!
ReplyDeleteLisa
I'd say it's also on a roof --- to be more specific, the roof of the playhouse that BobBob built!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like the roof.
ReplyDeleteThey just always make me smile! Are they on top of the tool shed?
ReplyDelete:)
oh my it looks like the roof.
ReplyDeletePretty sure I've got this one but oh my! How did they get there??? Would it be wrong to wrap your girlies in bubble wrap and glue on helmets? ;o)
ReplyDeleteJeepers. Please tell me they haven't figured out how to get out onto the roof. If they have, please promise me they won't tell mine how they did it.
ReplyDeletePlayhouse roof? But, knowing the girls it could very well be the roof of YOUR house :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going with the roof of some sort of structure. Not sure what kind, though ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am guessing the roof too....and you just casually mention AFV like they call every day. Not that is surprises me. Ro and Ree are funny enough to win the big one there. More on that story please!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea, but I'm thinking you need to have these girls sporting helmets 24-7.
ReplyDeleteWe're thinking the roof of the playhouse. Do they need to borrow my rock climbing gear?
ReplyDelete-uncle Bobby-
On the roof of the play house!
ReplyDeleteIt's taken THIS long to get a call from AFV?
ReplyDeleteI would have had a heart attack by now! You are a saint lol
ReplyDeleteHaving to get off the phone with AFHW because one twin pushed the other twin out of a tree will probably increase the chances of your video clip being accepted, you think?
ReplyDeleteAnd AFHW will probably be calling you back for more.
ReplyDeleteI am going to guess the video clip was the one at the ocean.
