Who needs to go to the gym, we’ve got Hopscotch Zoom (Ro’s name):
I was DYING when Ree sneaked over and crossed off “cartwheel” and substituted “poosh up” for her cartwheel-impaired daddy. Anyhow, if you’ve got a patio or driveway and a piece of chalk, this is a great way to get your kids (and yourself) moving. Go crazy and see how big and wild you can make your game.
Oh, and here's a little bonus video of Ro. I nearly choked when I heard what she said. These dang kids hear everything we say, EVERYTHING I tell you:Happy Sunday. The girls were awake (and FREAKING loud, heh) until after 11pm last night and a pot of industrial-strength-can-practically-chew-it coffee is calling my name.

Spring Fling: This is post #3 of my Spring Fling effort to do a daily post for a month. One friend has already gotten spring fever too and agreed to join me in this mad quest. Check out Lisa’s blog Moments with Maisie to see if she can keep up this daily posting. Go Lisa! And if anyone else wants to try for a post a day for a month, just give a yell and I’ll link to you too! You can start anytime (today is great!) and then keep it up for a month. It’s a good way to break out of the winter blahs and have some fun with the blog again.
can i just say that you really made my day with these videos! I LOVED that their daddy, without hesitation, played the game! I can say for a girl without a daddy, that really makes me smile! What a good daddy they have! Oh, and the poosh up's? Melt.my.heart!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome sport Tuba Dad is!!!
ReplyDeleteVERY impressive Tuba Dad! Now it is mom's turn! We want to see you do some fancy hop scotch moves :).
ReplyDeleteOkay I'll do it... Haven't seen the videos yet, may not even have time now that I have to go write some catch-up blog posts...
ReplyDeleteOH my word!! That's the very best game of hopscotch ever! Way to go Ro and Ree!!!
ReplyDeleteHeh...nearly wet myself to see TD doing it. You rock TD!
Oh sheesh.... just today thought about joining in on a blog post a day fun, but now it is a challenge!!! Holy crap, M3.... such pressure! Yap... I am in. I will try to post tonight about our fun snow (yes snow!!!) and hot chocolate adventures with the Tatertot. Such pressure, but fun too!
ReplyDeleteMaisie would love that hopscotch on steroids and TD is a good sport and has some serious jumping and spinning talent going on. Thanks for the link I actually got my post up today but have a feeling that by the end of the month I may be posting pictures of plants sprouting and showing their daily progress. Yes my blog will become a watch the grass grow blog...giggle. Wishing you a fun week.
ReplyDeleteShe is so freaking cute! I'm going to try the one post a day for the month of April. You've inspired me!

Yeah, Linhsey says "fweaking" all of the time because of me! I'd love to join in on this Spring Fling, but we have a road trip coming up which will end in the mountains of Tennessee and not much internet access. Not sure what I would do about that.

ReplyDeleteok, seriously, I'm tired just WATCHING the girls do their hopscotch on crack thing. LOL I would pay good money for that kind of energy!!! LOL!!

ReplyDeleteSharon you could do it and just take a few days off or queue some photos up to post while you're gone. Come on, join us!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat play structure looks AWESOME! Casey would love that. I feel so bad we don't have a yard for her. (I wasn't able to comment in the newest post.)
