The birthday party was Mulanderful

We have some happyhappyhappy birthday girls on our hands. I’ll publish all the details and the cake instructions after some wine and some sleep (not sure in which order), but for now, here are two fun party pics.

Mulan was everything Ro and Ree dreamed she would be.DSC_8657LR

The 4.5-foot dragon cake was everything I dreamed it would be. DSC_8648LR-2

Maggie and I put over 2000 M&Ms on that beast yesterday to make all of the slithery scales, and the looks on the girls’ faces were worth every single hour we spent on it.

All in all, a highly successful sixth bday.

  26. I am SO impressed with that cake. In the next year, SOMEONE I bake a birthday cake for has to have either a snake or dragon cake, just so I can use that design.
