It’s Ro and Ree’s golden birthday today – six on the sixth -- and we started the celebrating early by sneaking into their room last night while they slept and filling it with balloons.
They were thrilled to wake up this morning and find our birthday surprise:
Happy sixth birthday Ree and Ro – we love you!
PS: If you’re going to do something like this, it really helps to have a big-lunged tuba player around the house. That boy can blow up balloons like nobody’s business. Now I’m off to start baking bundt cakes for this weekend’s dragon-cake. Wish me luck!

did you know that when you turn the age of your birthdate it is called your crown birthday - ie 6 on the 6th. So appropriate for your girls at this stage of their lives as we all know crowns are of utmost importance
