And it’s driving her non-whistling and incredibly jealous sister mad.
Ro also wore her new “riding” boots to school.
She’s pretty dang proud of those boots.
They had to buy shoes with a heel for horseback-riding lessons, and both chose a pair of these. I was kind of picturing something more brown and less sparkly. But hey, what do I know?
It’s just been a good day all around for Miss Ro.

Well Ro is definitely going to be the most sparkly girl on a horse. Great, hip, and fancy boots!
ReplyDeleteLovin' the boots and the whistle. Cutest lips I have ever seen!
ReplyDeleteCute whistling pictures! And those sparkly boots are fab:)
ReplyDeleteCute pout! Love the boots. My son learned to whistle, sucking in air instead of blowing it out. Funniest thing ever!
ReplyDeleteWow! I can't whistle, so I am jealous! I can only imagine the tunes she will be coming up with to show up her non-whistling sister. At least that is what mine would be doing...hehehe.
ReplyDeleteSpill it...how did it happen? practice? more youtube videos? how was this accomplished? BTW....perfect riding boots.
ReplyDeleteI think it was an accident. Both girls tried pretty hard to learn a while ago with no success and we all kind of gave up. Then today Ro was just playing around and started making a whistling sound that caught us all by surprise. She's been practicing and perfecting it ever since.
DeleteMy great granddaughter Randi is fascinated by anyone who can whistle and then tries to do it herself. But at 2 1/2 I think she has a way to go before she can master it. I love the sparkly boots, every horsewoman needs those :) I absolutely love the lace skirt she has on. It is just to cute. Where did you find that at? I just have to get one or one similar for Randi. She loves wearing skirts and dresses. Oh and I might have to find her a pair of sparkly boots that would just make the outfit.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, I'm not positive on the skirt (and it's upstairs in the laundry where I'm too lazy to go get it), but I think it was Children's Place from last year, so they wouldn't have it any more. I took a quick peek online and they don't have anything like it right now.
DeleteMy daughter wants me to ask where you got the boots. She agrees that her plain black riding boots are not sparkly enough.
ReplyDeleteHi Amy, they're from The Children's Place (here's the boot page) and are in stock right now in sparkly blue, sparkly silver, matte tan, and matte purple. So cute!
DeleteLove the boots! My daughter asked for a pair when we were shopping for new school clothes. She wore them out of the store!
ReplyDeleteMost beautiful whistling pictures ever!
ReplyDeleteChildren's place, thank you, that was going to be my question too!
