Indoor picnic while watching Harry Potter movie

DSC_8802_LR

Ree also has her new Harry Potter Film Wizardry book close at hand and is enjoying looking things up in the book. Dusty enjoys anything where he gets to be close to his girls and eat.

PS: Ree got her three-week x-ray yesterday and was cleared to remove the sling and resume physical activity. I told her I was SO happy to hear it and she quipped “Not as happy as me!” She still has bruising where the arm was broken (which the dr. said is normal, eesh), but the ortho said the bone looks perfect on the x-ray. Whew.DSC_8798_LR

  6. Just an FYI, make sure Dusty doesn't eat any of that mac n cheese or cheese, chocolate, grapes, etc. All very bad for dogs. My dog once ate a bowl of Mac n Cheese that fell off a counter before I could clean it up and threw up 10x that night. Yuck. Glad the cast is off and hope you had a good Mother's Day.

  7. I made my older daughter wait until she was 7 to start the first Harry Potter book. My Sophie is almost there...hope your girls are enjoying it!!! Of course, my older DD never liked the movies - they scared her even though she knew what was going to happen. We never even went to the theater, we collected them as they came out on DVD. We were okay watching the first 4 in the middle of the afternoon with the volume turned down, but she didn't like the others. Now that she's almost 14, she just re-read the entire series and is watching the movies...finally!! :)

  8. Are the drink bottles all stainless? I'm on the hunt for something similar if you don't mind sharing.

    1. Yes. They're those stainless steel insulated Thermos bottles with the flip top lid and the straw inside. They keep liquids cold (with ice) all day. I get them at Target.
