TubaDad was playing a kiddie concert last weekend, so the whole family tagged along.
We found a doggie day care just minutes from the venue, and Dusty was happy as a clam to play with other dogs all day. The girls and I hung out at the Peanut’s Museum while TubaDad had practice.
Then we met back up with him for the symphony. We had great seats, overlooking the tuba (which thankfully the girls didn’t try to throw anything into).
Ree is so happy about the new pink panda sling I got from Etsy, by the way. Absolutely thrilled and no longer painfully self-conscious about her arm. If you ever find yourself in need of a sling, check out Lorali Designs. Reasonable price, enough fabric choices to make any kiddo smile, and (this was huge) I ordered the sling at 4:30 one afternoon and she shipped it at 6am the next morning:
After the concert we picked up the dawg, who had played so hard that he fell asleep before we even pulled out of the parking lot:
Stopped in Petaluma for some chow and found the neatest family sweet shop – Powell’s Petaluma. I think they had every candy I’ve ever seen. Ree picked out some sour things that made her eyes water a bit (in a good way apparently), and Ro picked a whole bunch of taffy flavors. Worth stopping by if you’re in the area.
The drive home wasn’t too shabby either...
Such a great family day! You filled it with so many fun adventures!
