Merry Christmas to all!
The excitement is building over here. The presents are all wrapped (TubaDad had to give the squirmy hyperexcited girls a bath while I did wrapping duty, and I'm thinking I lucked out and got the good end of that deal!). The cookies are ready to put out for Santa, and we've got some reindeer food ready as well. Tonight we light luminaries all up and down my parents' street, just like we've done for a few decades or so, and the girls will get to open some presents from friends. Then sometime after the girls are in bed (notice I didn't say "sleeping," haha like that's going to happen!), the jolly old man in red will visit our house and fill the stockings (I have it on good authority that he managed to find some TubaNuts, thank goodness). The girls can't wait, and neither can we. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas filled with magic.
