Happy Easter
Hope everyone has a wonderful day full of love, laughter, and chocolate.
The plan was to take the girls' Easter portraits before they ate/slobbered/rolled in the dirt/dyed eggs in those pretty dresses. So TubaDad came home late Friday night with some fancy new strobe lights and we all sat there holding our props and dresses and watched while he got them set up. Nothing like a little pressure, huh? As soon as he had them about half figured out, we tossed the girls' Easter dresses on and snapped away. The pics aren't perfect, but hey they're not too bad for equipment that was about three minutes old and really hard to operate.
Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt for the girls and a few of their friends, and then we ended the day with a little hair-cutting incident. Lovely. I'll have pictures tomorrow.
Boy the girls have sure changed in two years!
(Ree is on the left in the 2007 and 2008 photos, and
Ro is on the left in the 2009 photo. But you knew that already, right?)

Wow, what a difference a year makes. Unbelievable how much they've changed just since last year!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to your whole fam!
Happy Happy Easter to my sweet little grandaughters!

Wela
Wow how they've grown. Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteThey sure are growing! Happy Easter to you all, too!
ReplyDeleteyour girls have grown up so fast!
ReplyDeleteWow... what a difference each year! Is it possible they get cuter every second???
ReplyDeleteWhat a change is right!! Happy Easter to you guys too! Hope the hair cutting issue isn't too bad....had twin friends in elementary. To tell them apart mom would put one in a pony tail and one in pig tails taking turns each day...well one day the one with the pony wanted her sister to look like her so she chopped off one of her pigs. Oops! The dorthy hammil was the new look on them for a while.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Wow!
ReplyDeleteAre those bunnies real? Are you going to keep them, or were they props?
you are doing awesome with your DIY photosessions! way to save a ton of money and stil get adorable photos.
ReplyDeleteI think the pics are perfect. I love, love your blog although I don't comment often. Happy Easter to the whole family.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures turned out great. I am loving that little pink piano.
ReplyDeleteOh no about the hair cutting! I hope the damage wasn't too bad!
Happy happy Easter to a wonderful family.
SO cute!! They're growing up so quickly! Which I'm guessing might be evidenced by their admittance to hair dressing school? Oops!! Looking forward to seeing those pics....I think! Hope no major damage was done.
ReplyDeleteCute, cute dresses! Wherever did you find them? ;o)
Happy hunting girls!
What perfect pics! The girls are so adorable!!! I am glad other kids try their hands at haircutting. Our daughter cut her bangs right off last year the day before our first family pic! (it was very sad as our oldest is 11 and it was our first family pic.....oh well, we have a story to tell and a reason to do another family photo shooot!!)
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
Happy Easter to you all.... hope you all had a fun day. The girls look beautiful...........
ReplyDeleteAuntie Shirley and Big Bob
Happy Easter. Wow, the girls have really grown a lot and they couldn't be any cuter. How do you stand it? They are just tooooooooooooooo cute. I'm so happy for you.
ReplyDeleteThey sure have changed!!! They look so grown up now!!! Not a "cutesie baby look" in sight!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your photos!!! You do such an amazing job (and you to tubaDad!) I love that the girl's have their "signature" pink & yellow on!!! :) Is there any other colour?!!
Beautiful pictures! You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteKatie cut her hair a few months back. We ended up getting it all shoulder length and we all like it very much!
Love seeing the pictures showing how much the girls hav grown. This year's photos turned out great!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, beautiful girls and lovely memories to cherish. Amazing what a difference 2 years can make.
ReplyDeleteHuge difference from '07 to '09. One thing remains the same though--Ro and Ree are a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e! Your photo shoot results are wonderful, M3. Now that you have your own studio, no more waiting in line or having to time an appointment for when both of the girls will be at their happiest. Great idea for you and TubaDad to get your own equipment. Of course, it helps that you're a great photographer.
ReplyDeleteI just saw Wela's sweet comment to the girls. Everybody should have a Wela and BobBob.
ReplyDeleteSo fun! Thank you for sharing your Easter with us!
ReplyDeleteI wish I lived near you, you would absolutely be our new photographer!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work and super beautiful girls.
What great Easter pictures. It is so amazing to see how they change, especially from two years ago. Where did the babies go?
