Mmm, now I think I'm hungry for marshmallows

How many pieces of pajamas do you think Ree and Ro like to wear at one time? Three? Four? How about 15?!! Actually it would have been more but I haven't done laundry in a few days (as usual) so the poor dears are down a few pairs. I left them alone for a few minutes this morning and they thought this was the thing to do, even squashing shoes over the winter footed pajamas so they could play outside: DSC_5034ms For heaven's sake. Is anyone else thinking Stay Puft Marshmallow man? Whatcha got under there, sweeties? DSC_5051ms I can't believe they crammed on all this stuff. It must have been a little arduous getting it all on. Imagine if they used that energy for something useful like cleaning up? (Ahhh, a girl can dream...) DSC_5066 PS: Wela saw their video plea for summer pajamas and came through with a bunch of new pairs. You can see a couple of them sprinkled in amongst the winter PJs above. There are others, but they're in the dreaded laundry pile, which is calling my name even as I type.

  2. That is too funny! =) Reminds me of all the layers some receive their babes from the orphanage in.

  3. I'm with Connie. I think they're reminiscing of the bundling they were subjected to in China. I can remember seeing families on The Story of You and peeling off 10 (yes 10!) layers of clothing on their baby.

They have a marvelous fashion sense and play off each other very well.

  5. Well, they were trained in China. LOL...It's all about 20 layer puff there...

  6. OK, is that Ree in blue and green? Because she looks so delicious!!

By the way, are you keeping the girls hair long or are they asking for long hair? I want Emma's hair short but she just won't let me cut it. She wants her hair to be long as Ariel's.

Their creativity just shines through, doesn't it?

  9. My daughter needs to visit yours so she can learn that playing dress up is fun. Three brothers are turning her into a tom-boy.

  10. Too funny! You have real fashionistas there. I feel sorry for you when they are about 15. You will need a bigger house for all the clothes.

  11. And you wonder why the laundry pile is so large! Very cute and such patience putting on so many layers.

My 4.5 year old does this all the time. She puts on as many shirts and pants and socks as possible and later complains that her ankles hurt :) On opposite side, she's been known to come downstairs entirely nootie-tootie except for a pair of hot pink flippers and snorkle as well, so I think they just like to live in the extremes sometimes!

  13. I always get a smile, laugh or a real chuckle with each visit here. Your girls are tooooo much. (I'm an identical twin too and I remember all the crazy antics - our poor mom.)

    Happy laundering!

  17. Hah...I agree with the other Connie. It immediately reminded me of all the layers my girl was in when we met.

It reminds me of the friends episode where Joey puts on all Chandler's clothes i.e. "Hi I'm Ro and Ree - could we be wearing any more clothes?"

    LOL ; ) Too cute.

This is hilarious!!! and good job on documenting it....they will never believe it when they are older.

Did they help each other get into so many? or was it every woman for herself?!!!

I think it has to do with our freaky weather and they are smart to layer and strip off as needed.

  25. Your girls are just so cute. I could just squeeze their little cheeks off! I will just have to substitute my cuties cheeks, and they won't be happy! After all they are a very grown up 11 and cheek squeezing is so uncool :(
