We're TubaDad (laid-back taco-eating tuba-player from Texas) and M3 (excitable, artsy chocoholic from California). We adopted our beautiful twin girls from Hubei, China in Oct 2006 and this blog is about our lives with the twinados, Ro and Ree. Cheers!
I'm not good at this sort of thing so I'll just voter for other ideas. I loved the first commenters speech bubble idea. I also LOVED the Ten Apples Up on Top idea. As a teacher I gotta go for that one. It is such a cute book too!
Want to make a big difference in the world? Give one small child the benefit of Foster Care. Ro and Ree were in foster care and it changed their lives. Read more about it or read about other charities that help children.
Just put a bubble over Ree's head with the words, "Wait right there, Ro, I have to find my bow and arrow."
ReplyDeleteThat is such a sweet picture!
Ma
Turn on the William Tell's Overture, I'm getting my bow & Arrow!
ReplyDeleteLOOK out William Tell?
ReplyDeleteOOOOOO, don't move, Ro! It could fall off.
ReplyDeletewela
You need to change your clothes. The colors are now not matching.
ReplyDeleteshe's thinking" I could shoot that off her head!"
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of something with Willaim Tell too, but that's been taken :)
ReplyDeleteI also thought the girls could be testing Newton's law of gravity
"Mama said da apple doesn't fall far from da tree"
ReplyDelete"I see my afternoon snack!"
ReplyDelete"And this is how Carmen Miranda started out"
ReplyDelete...Cirque du Pomme
ReplyDelete(But, like others, the first thing that popped into my mind was something to do with William Tell)
That snake told me it tasted really good.
ReplyDelete"What gravity?"
ReplyDeleteGravity = RM2
ReplyDeleteI love the expression on Ro's face.
Ro explains the concept of a well-balanced snack to Ree.
ReplyDelete"Look! One apple up on top. I am so good it will not drop."
ReplyDelete(Apologies to Theo LeSieg)
Look Ree... you can balance apples, or books, or bananas... all will help give you great balance and make us more lady like. You try next...
ReplyDeleteAlso gotta say I love their outfits! What style!
"Hey, I thought * I * was the monkey here!"
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of a fruit.....?
ReplyDeleteAn apple a day keeps the headache away.
ReplyDeleteThat looks tasty, I wonder if I could eat it off my sister's head?
ReplyDeleteThis is how I want my hair Mama and then some green socks to match.
ReplyDeleteGillian
"Look Ree, No hands"
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures!!
Laura
It reminded me of the Dr. Seuss book, "Ten Apples Up On Top."
ReplyDeleteRee says, "Peez, Mama! Ro wants me to soot de apple off her head!"
ReplyDeleteRee talking bubble:
ReplyDelete"Is that the William Tell overture I hear?"
You should read "Ten Apples Up on Top." The caption would be "I will not let those apples drop!"
ReplyDeleteLook Mom, no hands
ReplyDeleteRee: okaaaay....now what is it supposed to do?
ReplyDeleteor
Ro: I've sufficiently distracted Ree. Mom, you grab the chocolate and I'll meet you in the bathroom in two minutes!
I was thinking the exact same thing as Ma. "Right heeeear, Ro. I go get de arrow and de bow."
ReplyDelete"And that's how Newton came up with his law."
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!
ReplyDeleteNo suggestion but I NEED to know where to get that monkey shirt!
Trust me, this will work.
ReplyDeleteHold still, hold still, steady...NOW SHOOT!!!!
Sharyn

Ro and Chuck and their respective photographers rock!
Maybe, like Chuck, Ro doesn't need a caption as much as a name 'for her special thing'.
"Is that all you can do, sis?"
ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful picture! I love your work.
Tina
Did you guys watch the spelling bee?
ReplyDelete"It would be cool if my apple was this BIG!"
ReplyDelete"THIS big?"
Balancing Act (???)
ReplyDelete"we're a pear(pair), not an apple!"
ReplyDeleteLOL adorable. FYI, I would love to buy your used shoes off you as the girls grow out of them!!!
ReplyDelete"So mama puts da fruit on her head like dis and then we laugh and she takes da picture"
ReplyDelete"Look ma, no gravity!"
ReplyDeleteBetter one...
ReplyDelete"Monkey see, zebra do."
I can't think of anything clever. Too tired tonight. But the picture is cute. :-)
ReplyDelete"Mommy, look! I de Buddha!"
ReplyDeleteWell, i am tell'in you, I can do this!
ReplyDeleteIf this demonstrates Newton's law of gravity, where is the tree?
ReplyDeleteI think this bootiful apple balances out the pink and white bows quite nicely. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteI'm not good at this sort of thing so I'll just voter for other ideas. I loved the first commenters speech bubble idea. I also LOVED the Ten Apples Up on Top idea. As a teacher I gotta go for that one. It is such a cute book too!
ReplyDelete"Well if you're not going to eat it, I'LL HAVE IT!"
ReplyDeleteThis is such an adorable photo!
Your girls are so precious.

ReplyDeleteI can't come up with a caption....I just know its CUTE!
ReplyDeleteRee: "Yes, just like that...I'm going to get my bow and arrow!"
