Happy Mother's Day
We started the day with breakfast in bed (Donettes, coffee, and strawberries, of course), then took my folks out to a fancy Mother's Day brunch where the girls decided they are in love with crab legs. Ro wanted to know why we don't have them every day. Heh. We had a little fun at a local park on the way home, and then it was naptime. Now TubaDad says he might have a fun little surprise in mind for dinner. Yay.
He took these pictures, by the way, and I Photoshopped them. A few minutes before my folks arrrived, as I was trying to find something in the closet that actually fits, I yelled downstairs that maybe TubaDad could set up the backdrop and lights and we could take a three-generations Mom's Day pic. So he had about 10 minutes to set up that brand new equipment and then try to figure out the dang lights (nothing like a little pressure). I said this at Easter, but we really, really need to set the stuff up and figure out how to use it when holiday pictures aren't riding on it. Oh well, next time for sure. And I'm also still working on a post talking about all the photography equipment/backdrops/lights we've got.
Happy Mother's Day. Hope all of the mothers, daughters, and mothers-to-be had a peaceful, loving day.
