The twins take Gilroy Gardens by storm

Ok, the big news of the day is that we've got four carseats in our van. Come on, how cute is that? We piled everyone in to visit Gilroy Gardens today and then squeezed as much fun as possible into our visit. IMG_2820 Does this face scream "watch out world here I come" or what? It's Ree, of course. IMG_2836LRsl Not sure how much popcorn they all consumed, but it somewhat hampered our lunch efforts. IMG_2849 S2 (left) and H2 (right) are as strong as Ro (left) and Ree (right), and this move never fails to crack me up: IMG_2851LRsl There might even have been more swinging than popcorn. (And does anyone else snicker a little to see TubaDad with pink cup and pink sunglasses peeking out of his backpack and D2 with the kid zoo backpack? Heh.) IMG_2852LRs They were all so supportive of each other during the facepainting. IMG_2859 The resulting faces were dang adorable! Ro and Ree asked the artists to make their faces "all pink, just pink," which confounded them a little. I gave them the go-ahead to add a few embellishments. (H2 left, S2, Ree, Ro) IMG_2865 IMG_2868 I would have taken more and better pics, but guess what I didn't do before the visit? _DSC0779LRs Yeah. Nice. The low battery light started blinking on my first photo, and I lost flash powers almost instantly and then babied the camera along for a few more pics. Sigh... My only consolation was that (as you can see from this photo) D2 had the same problem. And we call ourselves photographers! The rest of the pics (the few I did manage to take) are here. Tonight K2 & D2 and TubaDad and I are going out for a grownup dinner (whooo!) and Wela and BobBob are double twinsitting. Wow. They are tough and brave. Wish them luck!

  2. Oh my, we were just there also! We got on a ride where the person asked if there were any twins. He said he just had two set of twins on his ride. So funny! You guys left a smile on his face.

  3. Um, Wela and BobBob are babysitting TWO sets of twins? Did you hide the duct tape and rope from the twins? No telling what might happen to your poor parents. Tee hee.

    Enjoy some adult time!

  4. Teresa and I thought of the same thing, that awesome duct tape picture. What I wouldn't give for folks like yours (I still so want to zip down there and grandparent nab them!).

Have fun, have loved seeing the gals playing together.

None of us sat still long enough to be tied up tonight. We had an awesome time with 4 cuties.

  6. Oh to be in that house right now amongst all the fun and laughter. And I'm glad to read that Wela abd BobBob survived the evening.

  8. what a wonderful, fun, pink day for all of you!! Too bad about the batteries but the pics you captured are wonderful! Hmmm...wonder if the girls hid the chargers on you so that Wela and BobBob couldn't take any pics of the antics the do while the parents are out???

    Have fun!!

  9. CUTE! After seeing their adorable pink faces, I have to recommend this book that Maya and I are currently reading (over and over and over!). It's called Pinkalicious, by Victoria Kann. It's very cute and funny..the girls would love it!
