We're TubaDad (laid-back taco-eating tuba-player from Texas) and M3 (excitable, artsy chocoholic from California). We adopted our beautiful twin girls from Hubei, China in Oct 2006 and this blog is about our lives with the twinados, Ro and Ree. Cheers!
When you have eight helpful hands, waffle-making gets a lot more interesting. And a lot messier.
TubaDad found this at the bottom of the batter near the end. Oops.
(H2 with her hair down, S2 in the kittycat headband, Ro in the pink nightgown, Ree in the yellow nightgown.)
Not a lot of hair in the batter (that we would have noticed) - but yummy waffles, let me tell you. TubaDad did an excellent job keeping the four of them on task.
And M3 took great pictures - I love #7: ordered by size...
I thought about the hair, too! funny. Some of these shots are so endearing. I love how H2 is pulling back one of the girls' hair in that one pic. (maybe that's what got me thinking about hair..) Looks like a great time. I know those girls will remember that morning forever..
Want to make a big difference in the world? Give one small child the benefit of Foster Care. Ro and Ree were in foster care and it changed their lives. Read more about it or read about other charities that help children.
Tee hee. They all look so focused. :-)
ReplyDeleteTubaDad is wearing a lot of "white" stuff. Looks like mini chefs at work.
ReplyDeletewela
And here I am wondering how many long strands of gorgeous black hair ended up in those waffles. Yum.

ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous pics. I like that S2 is still in her kitty cat headband from yesterday's pics!
ReplyDeleteLove how much fun all the girls are having together.
ReplyDeleteOh to have M3 and Tuba Dad as parents. Lucky, lucky, very lucky kids.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. That would be one fun household to be a part of. I hope the waffles were ultra yummy.

ReplyDeleteWow, what a fun project. Any pancake made with that much love and determination, has got to be delicious.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, ask the "2's" Mom where she got the cute fairy princess pjs. Adorable !
What a fun time in your home !

Good times!! I love when kids cook and it looks like 8 hands in the batter makes some good pancakes!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that beats 4 little helping hands is 8:-) LOVE IT!!!

I love the look of concentration on Ree's face breaking the egg.
ReplyDeleteFun memories!
What great pictures!! It really looks like they had so much fun:) What did the kitchen look like when they were done??? hehe!!
ReplyDeleteFor the record, the waffles were awesome!
ReplyDeleteAnd since Gail asked, the fairy princess pj's almost certainly came from either Target or Old Navy. I'll check the labels tomorrow, just to be sure.
