Yep, that game is gonzo.
For some reason Ro hated it with a passion. She got to the point where she'd catch a glimpse of the box (usually in her taunting sister's hand) and burst into hysterical tears. And this girl loves all games, whether she wins or loses. She'll play for hours anytime she can beguile someone into playing with her.
Whatever...
If you stare hard enough at this picture you should be able to hear the victory yell she let out when that Old Maid was trashed.

ReplyDeleteWe have an interesting Old Maid story. Our game involves a shark instead of the Old Maid. And--Martina cries if she does NOT have the shark at the end of the game. So we always just play along and everyone ends up a winner. Someday she will realize that the shark is evil, but right now we're enjoying it!
