Have I mentioned that I hate musicals?
No? Well it's true. I guess that should just be filed away with other random facts about me:
- Detest musicals and always have
- Eat chocolate at least once a day and usually twice
- Have freakishly long toes, which break easily and with annoying regularity
Alrighty, enough about that. I know what everyone really wants to see are pictures of Ro and Ree. Luckily I grabbed a few before we zoomed out the door for their BFF's bday party today. Oh man, the kneesocks are just killing me with the cuteness. Before you squint at the computer and wonder if the screen is smudged, by the way, I'll just admit that my camera settings were whacked out, so these aren't the sharpest/best pics I've ever snapped. But hey they're still worth sharing.
Ro is in pink, Ree is in green, and the birthday party was fabulous. Now we're all just settling in for a long, (hopefully) quiet week while TubaDad is working his butt off at Disneyland Paris. (Yes, that's right, he was sent there on business. So freakin' jealous!!)

Wow Disney Paris! That sounds nice! I am surprised you guys didn't go. That trip to Australia before you adopted the girls seemed so much fun, but I guess having the twins it is hard to leave on a last minute trip no matter how much fun it would be.
ReplyDeleteI love those dresses and with the knee socks and hair bows they are just so adorable!
ABSOLUTELY love those dresses!!!! And those knee socks!!!! Just too cute for words!!!
ReplyDeleteDid someone make you watch a Musical today? I live for musicals and so do Emma, actually my whole family does too.
ReplyDeleteI love the knee high socks. Emma has been wearing those kind also. They just look so cute!!!
How much do I LOVE that you HATE musicals? It's difficult for me to find others who share my detest. I've never seen The Sound of Music and am almost always blasted for it.
ReplyDeleteI feel a kinship here...
I love love LOVE those socks!! What adorable pictures!

So I take it that you're not a big fan of the new show Glee?
ReplyDeleteGasp! You hate musicals? : )
ReplyDeleteSo so so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat about Willie Wonka? It's a musical, of sorts. You can't hate Willy Wonka?
(I'm not talking the new one. I mean the original. The new one with Johnny Depp is blasphemous!)
OMG such cuteness! Where are the dresses from? Mae took one look at them and said "Buy me the pink one, Mama." Heh.
ReplyDeleteWHERE CAN I GET ONE OF THOSE DRESSES>!?!?! toooo cute!
ReplyDeleteYou know this means that Ro and Ree are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE musicals, right?
ReplyDeleteFunny questions! Actually I wrote this post while I was watching Glee, that new show that's actually kind of fun, until they break into song. Heh.
ReplyDeleteLet's see, the dresses are from The Children's Place, but they're last year's dresses. I bought them a little big toward the end of last season, hoping that they could wear them for two years. Bonus! The knee socks are from Carters, and they're in stores right now.
Loving those outfits!! My girly girls can't stand knee socks and it just kills me. The princess bottlecap bow looks great with the outfit (lol!!!).
ReplyDeleteNo musicals?? < gasp > I can't get enough singing and dancing! Guess it's in the genes since my grandma was a Rockette.

I love those dresses so much, I just might have to break into song! :-)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, those are darned cute and the knee socks make them cuter...if that were possible.
I like musicals, but can't stand live theater. Ha! Take THAT!
My husband doesn't like musicals either.
ReplyDeleteDisney Paris sounds great! My friend, Michelle spent 4 years in Paris while her dad worked on the animatronics there.
I also have a friend whose job it is to open new rides at Disney parks. He's worked for Disney since we were in college together in 1991.
I can't believe you hate musicals.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if we can still be friends. Kidding!
Those dressed and knee socks together are so cute. I didn't get a chance to tell you how sorry I am about your toe. You know I feel your pain, having monkey toes myself and just recently getting over a broken one. :)
Funny. My husband can't stand musicals. I, however (ADORE) them. (Eekk....sorry!)In fact, I've been known to break out in song at any (inappropriate) moment. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteThe knee socks are....no words. LOVE THEM!!!
And of course, your girlies just get cuter and cuter!
Ooh, love the knee socks with those dresses! Alayna has the pink dress from last year...I may have to try and locate some of those cutey-petuty socks to go with it. :)

Adorable! Love those dresses! And Disney Paris?? I need TubaDad's job!
ReplyDeleteWhat does TubaDad do that he is at Disneyland Paris? My brother is General Counsel Walt Disney International and spends a lot of time at Disneylands around the world. Tough life.
ReplyDeleteI love the dresses, but the socks with them.....OH MY WORD, SOOOO CUTE!!!
ReplyDeleteHope TD gets to fit in a little fun while in Paris:)
Lisa
Hmmm...Katherine has inherited Mary Joyce's dress like that. I may have to look for the socks. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh man!! Wish the 3 of you could have swung a trip to Disneyland Paris with TubaDad! Hopefully next time.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your quiet week. After all the fun and excitement of the past couple of weeks I'm guessing a quiet one will be welcome.
Adorable striped socks with their cute dresses!
Wow, good for Tubadad to go to Paris.
ReplyDeleteOkay where did you get the girls' dresses and knee socks??? LOVE them! I know my girls would love them and I have been looking for winter dresses. The dresses are so cute.
Molly
What are you going to do when one of your girls comes home and says she has the lead in her high school musical? LOL You'll HAVE to go to it, right?
ReplyDeleteAlthough I love musicals, there are other shows that people tend to love that I hate, so I totally respect your preferences.
I hear ya. Everyone is telling me to watch Glee but I cringe when I think about the singing.
ReplyDeleteJamie S.
I love these dresses!! Where did you get them!?!
ReplyDeleteThose are the cutest dresses I've seen in awhile, please tell us where you got them! Also my camera ability is always fuzzy so I was used to these pix!
ReplyDeleteI also can't stand musicals. Don't really know why just find them uber annoying!
ReplyDeleteTOO cute....every time you post I feel you've outdone yourself. Apparently it is a endless reserve of beauty, giggles and fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up on the cute sock wear. Our school has Fun Sock Day for the kids. They love participating...oh, and Fun Hat Day too.
I hope you've stocked up with plenty of chocolate and beverage for while dear Tuba Dad slugs it out in Paris. :-p
Take extra good care,
Jen
There's something about these specific pictures that finally hit me - the girls look so big all of a sudden!! Adorable as always, but now getting so big!! Yikes.
ReplyDeleteI love those dresses! I'm expecting twins in Dec., and am determined not to dress them exactly alike. Where do you find the clothes that are "matchy" but not identical?
ReplyDeleteLove reading about your girls.
These are the cutest things I have seen!
