Joy on wheels
We haven't stopped for a minute to breathe, let alone blog, we've been so busy with birthday fun this week. But while the girls are napping, here are a few quick pics from this morning, the day our little girls turned four:
Oh yeah, they're having a good birthday. And this was only about 15 minutes of the joy they've had this past week. We've had Texas family in town, beach fun, first sleepovers, Gilroy Gardens, two parties, and more cake than any one family can eat. As soon as I can get through the thousands of pictures, there will be a full accounting.
Happy birthday Ro and Ree!!!
(The girls are wearing matching angel pajamas in these pics, so it's kind of hard to tell them apart, but Ro is wearing a white flower barrette)

ReplyDeleteOk, I just have to say that Ree holding her cheeks when she first sees the car is the cutest thing ever. I mean there is so much joy she just has to prop up that grin. Priceless. Of course, I'm sure you'll see that same look on her 16th b'day when she finds that she and Ro have some really "big wheels" in the garage on their birthday morning!!
ReplyDeleteGeez, now you HAVE to get them a real car on their 16th birthday, because it would be such a fun set of photos. :)

ReplyDeleteSo hard to believe your girls are four! Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the look of pure, unbridled glee on the girls' faces when the garage door opened up! Your cheeks must be sore from smiling so much.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sorry, but I can no longer allow Caroline to see your blog or I will NEVER hear the end of how THEY got a car, but SHE doesn't have one. The little boy down the street has one (a yellow jeep, NOT a Barbie pink one, thank you) and she has been complaining that she doesn't have one but he does. Oh, the horrors!
Happy Birthday to your kiddos!
I am now relieved I don't live in your neighborhood. Those cars? Are a sensory nightmare for me. Or maybe it's just that our young neighbor likes to play chicken with his car and innocent, terrified bystanders (namely - me). Heh.
ReplyDeleteThat third picture is amazing. You can taste the joy! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWowwie Zowwie! I wish I was four! You can see the pure delight on their faces as well as all the adults that are watching!
ReplyDeleteHAppy birthday girls!!!!
The BEST picture from this bunch has to be the 3rd from the top. The look on Ree's face is hysterical. If they didn't end up sleeping in this car last night, I'll be surprised!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to be INSIDE the garage to capture the sheer joy on their faces when they first see it!
