Ahhh, the Christmas program. Yeah, my mom cried.

The excitement was palpable, eight tiny reindeer (times 3) were ready to fly (musically speaking, of course): DSC_9420LRs First glimpse of mama and daddy in the audience: DSC_9373LR2 Wheeeee, this just calls for a sisterly hug! DSC_9377LR2 DSC_9385LR2 Ro's hat was slipping down and she could barely see, so I tried to pantomime that she should push the hat up. She saw me and yelled out in the middle of the program "Mama, what were you doing?!" Yeesh. DSC_9399LR2 Asleep on the hay: DSC_9404LR2 Adorable little reindeer: DSC_9406LR2 DSC_9409LR2 Proud grandparents (my mom definitely cried during the show, and we're not sure about BobBob...): DSC_9382LR2 Oooo, bells. The festive factor instantly goes up if you add bells: DSC_9411LR2 Shake it baby, shake it. Ree was in her element, rocking out and doing all the moves (some choreographed, some her own). Ro was a little nervous, but did a great job and was happy to see her family and have a sister's hand to hold every once in a while: DSC_9419LR2 DSC_9426LR2 Done performing, and ready to "decorate" (I use that term loosely) some gingerbread men: DSC_9448LR2 DSC_9445LR2 DSC_9453LR2 Huh, me? No, I wasn't eating anything... DSC_9463LR2 Mom, I've told you before that decorating is very serious business. I'm concentrating here and don't have time for a picture. DSC_9454LR2 The masterpieces: DSC_9462LR2 DSC_9465LR2 Oh yeah, this was fun: DSC_9472LR2 Shoot, almost forgot to include the video: Merry Christmas everyone!

  13. Hey, they have the same motions as Casey for "We wish you a Merry Christmas!" But at the last minute they didn't do it because the teachers were worried the kids were so close to each other that there would be accidental punching. So Casey was the only one doing it. I guess she practiced that one too hard. Merry Christmas to all of you!

Ro and Ree were adorable, as always! After watching the video, with my trained teacher eyes, it seems as if Ro is very dependent on her sister. Just a suggestion, it may be best to split the girls next year. Everyone would agree, there are pros and cons of staying/splitting.
