Fashion friday (Ree is wishing it was summer already)
It's Fashion Friday, time to look back on some of the "interesting" fashions Ro and Ree put together this week. I was in a serious hurry all week and tried to dissuade the girls from taking any fashion photos at all, but I guess they're really liking being in control of that camera remote, because they insisted.
Ree (right) was in charge of this first one. She was determined to take her photo outside by this window and half-dead shrubs. I tried to convince her that it wasn't a very picturesque location, then realized that my inner control freak was flaring up and backed off. Both girls are wearing FrootLoop necklaces that they made, and Ro is showing off her stained hands (they were using felt pens and tiny pieces of foam paper to make "stamps," sigh...) I actually kind of like these outfits, especially how they have on matching Old Navy corduroy dresses but assembled such different outfits with them.
Ree (left) was in charge of this next photo also (I try to rotate control of the camera remote but must have forgotten who took the last pic, the dang brain just doesn't hold on to these tiny details any longer). Both girls went for yellow, and Ree snuck in a pair of shorts and her favorite multicolor sandals, even though it was actually freezing outside. She added legwarmers to emulate pants and make me be quiet. Ro's yellow and pumpkin combo was a little distressing to me, but she was dead set on it.
This last set of outfits was from today, and Ro (on the left) was in charge of the photo. Both girls are holding their friday sharing items for pre-K today (I sincerely hope the other kids don't freak out when Ro starts pulling organs out of Erwin the Little Patient). Ree wanted to make sure the Mickey on the back of her sweatshirt showed and again reached for the summer shorts, and Ro wanted to take the pic near some of the clothes we're assembling for our professional photoshoot with this awesome lady this weekend (yipes).
Have a great weekend, and think good thoughts for our photo session—we've never had anyone take pictures of our family and are excited and (unreasonably I'm sure) reallyreally nervous but trying not to be.

Did you ever get a picture of 5 million views?
ReplyDeleteI did, yes!! So excited. A commenter in the UK sent it over. I'll be using it in the anniversary post soon.
ReplyDeleteMy favorte has to be the yellow outfits. Well maybe not. I do love the fruitloop nechlaces. They are so versitile. Fahionable and etible. Is that how you spell it?
ReplyDeleteFashion Friday's never get old. Oh to have their closet of choices though! So thankful for caring friends who share their clothes with our little ones...and for tar*jay and others who understand fashion doesn't have to cost a small fortune. FF's are extra special now that the girls are in charge of the pics.
ReplyDeleteHow cool that you're having your pics done. Her work is gorgeous! Have fun and can't wait to see the results!
PS - Can't believe I'm missing Easter dress shopping this year. How can that be?? Oh yah....SO THANKFUL I'm missing purse shopping! Wheeeee!!! LOL! ;o)
The red glasses are killin' me. Too, too much cuteness for one set of twins.
