Life in the quarantine zone
Picked up a nasty computer virus (I think) that is sending spam email to everyone in my address book. Ugh. So TubaDad is disconnecting me from the network and I can't blog or do anything else that requires internet access until he figures out how to fix it.
If you got an empty email from me today that just had a link, please delete it. Sorry!
Will (hopefully) be back soon.

I got one but I've received several like this from many others over the past few weeks now.
ReplyDeleteIf it's hotmail it's not a virus on your computer. Your hotmail account has just been hacked. All you have to do is change your hotmail password and everything is better.
ReplyDeleteThis happened to my email too - must be going around. All I had to do was change my email password and then all was fine. My computer itself was not affected, it was just that my email was sending spam on it's own. I changed my password three times over the course of a full day (just 'cause I'm paranoid) and it hasn't happened since. For what it's worth... Good luck!
ReplyDeleteYup, I got two...and I was wondering..I was about to send you a note 'bout it.
ReplyDeleteSaw the link and deleted it.
ReplyDeleteSorry this happened. It stinks.
If you worked on Mac this would not happen :).
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw e-mail I thought "I'm pretty sure M3 doesn't want me to buy prescription drugs from Canada." Ha. Hope you get it straightened out quickly.
ReplyDeleteOh I was going to thank you for the email...Bahahah.
ReplyDeleteExplains the mysterious email.
