Cutie pies. They delightedly ran to the closet to put on “fancy” outfits to go with their new dos, then tossed their hair all day. (Seriously, the tossing went on the entire day and it was hilarious to watch.)
PS: I keep getting emails from folks who can’t see the blog – argh! So I’m pulling down one widget at a time to see if anything is changed. Tonight I pulled off the Amazon widget that was in the sidebar, so if anyone is reading this right now who couldn’t see the blog previously, please let me know.
I know what you mean on the hair. My daughter's best friends, who were twins, had the most gorgeous curly hair, and they wanted straight. My daughter had straight and wanted curls. go figure.
ReplyDeleteYour girlies are beautiful with or without curls!
oh and I could see the blog before and after. No problems viewing here.
ReplyDeleteThe curls are adorable. Great job Mom. I wonder how they would turn out if you used those foam curlers that you can sleep in.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a problem seeing the blog at all.
Must have been something in the air today cos my girls both went curly. I used rollers in them and posted their pictures.
ReplyDeleteYour girls look so sweet. Oh and the tossing thing, yeah that happened too.
The girls look adorable. I'm no fortune teller, but I think I see pink foam curlers in your future... and maybe even a crimping iron!
ReplyDeleteOh so cute!! I can't believe how the curls change the look of their beautiful faces. So sweet!!
ReplyDeletecute
ReplyDeleteP went with me to get my naturally curly hair cut the other day. The stylist next to us had a few free minutes and offered to curl P's naturally straight hair. We all wondered how long they would last in her Chinese hair. Darned if those ringlets didn't stay all day - despite the hair tossing! And Catherine is right - curls really change their faces! Since then, I've had to haul out my old curling iron for a couple of "salon days!" ;-)
ReplyDeleteI try to curl Olvia's hair but she will NOT have it! The girls look adorable.
ReplyDeleteYour posts have not been showing up in my reader but this one did.
OH TOO CUTE!! Love the curly look:) Isn't if funny how you always want what you don't have?
ReplyDeleteI haven't sported curls since the spiral perm days myself.... I live as a slave to the flat iron now. I just have a lot of natural frizz....
I never have problems viewing your posts..... I hope you can get to the bottom of it.
enjoy your sunday~
xoxo,
Lisa
The girls look great with curls--really makes them look older though! They are adorable with or without curls! No problems viewing here--check everyday for updates!

Grandma to 5 (2 from China)
i remember my hair tossing days at the same age. so fun. they look beautiful the 2 of them, but when don't they?? :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful curls! Beautiful girls!

How cute! Elle is my straight-haired girl and she loves for me to curl her hair. We do it with strips of paper towels. True story! When the hair is wet, I roll it with strips of paper (instead of rollers) and tie them into knots. It works REALLY well. When she wakes up in the morning, she's a regular Shirley Temple. Much easier (and safer!) than the curling iron, IMO. And she also looks darned cute with the "papelillos" in her hair. ;)
ReplyDeleteDarling girls with darling pictures. I am so glad you keep your blog going. Other people have gone to Facebook and no longer keep theirs up. I love seeing how your girls grow. Thanks for letting me watch. I have no problem with the blog showing up.
ReplyDeleteI think they look adorable with their curls!!! Now, if they want you to do this everyday as you are all getting ready to leave.....hmmmm....but they are cute as ever. What fun for them to have fancy hairdo's with their fancy clothes!!! Just adorable!
ReplyDeleteEveryone wants what they don't have, huh? My daughter had to have a hair crimper (yes, 80's) for Christmas. She has beautiful straight hair that I would love to have...I guess the dilema with women and their hair starts young!
ReplyDeleteThe girls' hair does look cute! (but it always does:)
I see it! I see it! I thought something was wrong with my internet but glad to see your site back on my screen! Emma always likes seeing what the girls are up too!
ReplyDeleteI love their curls!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave them sleep in those pink sponge rollers..just roll up to about their ears. Have it damp not WET..It should curl and they are pretty easy to sleep in:)
I could see your blog before and still and I have AOL and have a ton of online issues.
Oh yes, I would LOVE to have perfectly straight hair. Their hair looks adorable and I have visions of them tossing it. So cute! You should braid their hair wet and take it out in the morning.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter cracks me up when her hair is curled too. She sits straight up in the car seat & won't lean back. She holds her head like she can't turn or bend her neck all day. lol
ReplyDeleteShe usually sleeps in the pink sponge rollers. It will be very curly at first but then loosens up as the day goes on. Now that she's 9, we've moved on to hot rollers. Done in 10 min.
My sister constantly asks for curls, seeing as both myself and my fiance (he has long hair) have either curls or waves, and our mom has curls as well. She desperately wants my hair, and loves it when her hair does curl after having been braided, or on the rare occasions we curl it. She actually has a wig that is black hair with curls, lol.
