Fashion friday – have a bright, colorful day today!

Ro and Ree trounced down the stairs all proud of themselves that they had put together matching outfits. Awwwww! Reminded me of the days when I used to be in charge of dressing them. DSC_2883LR3

Cuties. They did manage to sneak in two of their faves: tank tops (even though it’s partly cloudy and kind of chilly today – I swear they’re part polar bear) and lots of white.

Shopping Alert: If you need any of these clothes for your little babes (the tops are so fun, four moms at school asked about them today), they’re all in stores right now. The colorful tops are from Old Navy (I can’t find them on the web site, but got them in store this week—does that mean they’re too new to be webified or on their way out?), the white lace skirts are from The Children’s Place, and the white lace-trimmed leggings are from The Children’s Place (ours are, well were, the full-length leggings, but the girls have had a massive growth spurt recently and now wear them as capri leggings, they sell either version).

Move It: We’re doing a fun experiment today, part of my personal “move it” campaign where I try to get more exercise every week. All four of us (me, TubaDad, Ro, and Ree) are wearing pedometers that count our number of steps all day. Care to enter guesses for how many steps each of us will take today? I’m guessing that Ro and Ree will take wayyyyyyy more steps. Who knows though! It’ll be fun to see, and then we’ll try to make some healthy changes after watching these counts for a week.

Happy Friday!

  1. Thanks for the heads up on the tops! They are adorable. Of course they look beautiful in such bright colors!

  2. Anonymous3/04/2011

    They look lovely.

  3. Love the new header.....very colorful!!!

    My money is on them!

  4. Cute, cute outfits!! The girls look so springy and yes, it does remind me of when they were little and you would dress them in coordinating outfits.

    Mama 6000
    TD 6000
    R&R 18,000 each!!

  5. seriosuly? is it that warm where you are??? sighhhh must not covet your weather...must not covet your weather....
    ok-- steps...
    girls: 10,000
    TD: 1,000

(you get more than TD cuz you're chasing those girlies!)

  6. To get ready for my walk, I also started wearing one! I made 10,660 yesterday! Still a ways away from the 10 miles I'm supposed to be getting! buying that tank top right now!!

  7. Several years ago, I went on Lindora Weight Loss (lost 42lbs and kept most of it off!) Anyway, part of the program was using a pedometer and logging 10,000 steps a day. It was harder than I thought, but it really worked!

  8. Cute! So glad that you share your blog :)

  9. I love how you include the girls in on everything. I think it's so cool. I bet they really enjoyed their pedometers!

  10. Cute! I bought a top for myself will all the ruffles from Old Navy this week. The boys got new baseball caps!

New header looks great by the way! :)

It must be really hard to be in a bad mood with those two and their cheerful outfits! I'm going to pass on guessing exact steps because I'm HORRIBLE at guessing games (I once guessed $42 of change when there was over $100, whoops!) but I'm going to take a guess that Ro and Ree have a TON, oh and you too chasing after them!

  12. Love it! I'm thinking I'll just bring and empty suitcase to USA, and fill up with lotsa goodies!

  13. just loving the bright colours

  14. LLLOOOOVE those cute little tops. Your two can really pull it together.

It'll be interesting to see the count at week's end. Happy stepping.

  15. I think we need a post about all the wonderful things you are making with your Silhouette!
