I think she did a pretty good job of Mulanizing

The girls’ fave two movies right now are Mulan and Mulan II (both purchased on the cheap as used movies from Amazon.com). And the fact that we do not own a bonafide Mulan costume is not slowing them down at all.Mulan_Ro

  2. Love the Mulan pics and the fantastic beach pics! Looks so fun!

We have some how happened on Kung Fu Panda a little late in the game and last night I had three Kung Fu masters jumping off the couch - trying to kick at unseen objects. Hilarious!

  6. Very creative! ...and I wanted to THANK YOU! for sharing your lifebook process and product here on your blog. I was able to finally finish ours thanks to your example and our daughter loves it! I had been stuck at zero obsessing about how to go about it. I shared a few pages on my blog if you want to take a peek. Thanks again!

  7. She did a great job!

My girls LOVE Mulan and Mulan II (their mom loves Mulan but NOT Mulan II!).

We found an inexpensive Mulan costume on ebay. And we found that if you take the blue waist piece off of the costume, you get a Princess Mei costume (Mei is in Mulan II). My younger daughter wanted to be Princess Mei for Halloween last year and I didn't have a clue how I was going to do it. However, most people assumed she was Mulan, much to her dismay!

  9. Nora: Did you guys see Kung Fu Panda II? If so, was it ok? I'm a little hesitant to show that one to the girls because I've heard so many pros and cons now.

  16. Hi there! I just wanted to drop you a quick note to first say how much I love your blog! Reading your words, seeing your pictures, listening to your spirit on your journey has changed my life for the better. I have been in the process of adoption from Russia for over three years now. Reading about journeys such as your have given me hope, encouragement, and energy to keep going. You have brought me to laughter and tears as I have followed your miracle. I thank you for taking the time to share.
I was wondering if you could give me some advice. I have a blog that I have been writing marking my journey towards my daughters. Do you have any advise on how to bring my journey to more people? My only goal is to pass on some of the blessings I have been given by families like yours. To encourage, inspire, and educate others about the miracle and challenges of adoption. I have submitted my blog to the various search engines and Facebook etc. Do you have any other ideas? I so appreciate you time and thoughts. my blog is www.adoption-thecrookedroad.blogspot.com.

thanks so much for your time and your willingness to share,
