Bonus! Unexpected dinner with my little bro

My brother (Uncle Bobby to the girls) had a surprise layover in San Fran this afternoon, so Ro and Ree and I hopped in the minivan and raced over to hang out with him.

2011-10-13 18.10.02-2LRAlways a treat to spend time with Bobby. Plus, he showed me how to take of bunch of different kinds of pics with my cell phone. Huh, who knew?!

This one is a self portrait that you can take by pressing a button and taking pics from the front of the phone:

This one is a panorama shot that will take eight or so snaps and stitch them together:2011-10-13 18.28.40-2LR

This one is a cartoon shot:2011-10-13 18.21.21-2LR

This one is a smile shot (the camera waits until it sees a smile to trigger the shutter):SAMSUNG

This one’s just a plain old normal shot, but it kills me. I like how big tough Bobby is holding the fluffy pink bear, Ree is trying to get higher than her sister, and Ro is dangling in midair. So so typical. Oh, and you can see one of the purses nearby on the ground, also typical, because these girls simply don’t travel without purses:SAMSUNG

Cheers, and happy birthday to my mom, who is enjoying a special birthday stay at an inn with my dad.

    how fun!

  7. Can I ask what kind of cell phone you have that can take those kind of pics?

Glad to see Uncle Bobby is still such a cutie :-) ha!

  8. Hi Chrissie, it's an Epic Samsung. The battery life stinks though, so if you get this phone buy an extra life battery and you'll be in heaven.

  9. Seeing family is the best!

Love the photos. I just barely know how to find the camera button let alone use it.
