The day has gone swimmingly. I don’t think we’ve accomplished anything other than swim and eat, but no one’s complaining.
Oh yeah, now we’re talkin!
Have I mentioned that Ro’s bottom left middle tooth is LOOSE?! You can imagine the simulaneous joy (hers) and agony (Ree’s) that this discovery produced:
Love my snuggly island girls.
Well we’ve done some extensive taste testing and the girls of the family prefer the crispy rice chocolate macadamia lovelies while TubaDad thinks the Caramacs are just the bomb. If you ask me he’s just going with a different one so he gets the whole box to himself, but I’m cynical that way.
We’re willing to keep testing some more to make sure our results are completely accurate. Actually I think I’ll get another one right now.
We were treated to another impromptu show after lunch. I think the whole world’s a stage to Ro (left) and Ree:
Speaking of that world’s-a-stage thing, TubaDad snapped this vid of the girls hula-ing their little butts off down by the pool. I can’t watch it without laughing. Can you?:
We feed the swans and koi every time we pass the hotel front, it cracks me up to see the swans practically standing on hundreds of fish to get to the Cheerios. The fish are no slackers either, you can see that they throw their scaly bodies out of the water and flop up on the rocks so that they get as many Cheerios as possible:
A little relaxation before dinner. Blogging for me, a Scott Turow book for TubaDad, and some Tangled movie on the laptop for the girls:
Aloha!
Loving the blog posts from Hawaii, thanks for bringing us along! ;)

ReplyDeleteHi Kristina, yeah this doesn't bite! :-) Today we get to do a volunteer program at the local animal shelter where the girls get to be dog cuddlers. They are so excited.
DeleteChocolate, macadamia nuts and swimming. Truly, is there anything better than that?
ReplyDeleteEnjoying your posts!!
Thanks sweetie. We dusted *another* box of macadamia chocolates last night. Yeesh. Maybe, just maybe, might need to do a little hike or some kind of exercise today... Maybe.
DeleteDon't work yourself too hard friend. Lifting those sweet chocolate covered Macadamia nuts might be all the exercise needed on vacay!
DeleteJust watched the hula video. Beyond adorable! Ree left and Ro right?
I'm so glad you are posting from the big H. I'm really enjoying the sunny pictures this week because it is pretty grey and rainy here. It has been a nice bright spot in my day!
