  2. Adorable! That horse (pony?) they rode is positively precious, too :)
And, seriously, both your girls look like they've been riding before, their seats are great! I think they're naturals :)

They need boots with a tiny bit of heel. You can buy riding boots or look in Payless for boots.

  6. You don't know me at all... but I have been a follower of you blog since you went to China to bring your girls home. It warms my heart to see you getting the girls horseback riding lessons.

Growing up I was a avid rider. I LIVED and breathed horses. It's such a great lesson in life. Horses have away of taking a person to another space. I rode for pleasure growing up on a ranch.

I hope they keep it up and get as much pleasure out of it that they can. :)

  9. Wow! They look awesome atop those gorgeous horses!! Personally I'm scared of those large animals, but our girls love them too. We haven't seen Brave yet (probably the only ones out there), but something tells me they are going to be asking to learn how to ride soon after we do. Every time I check in on you all, I can't get over how the gils are growing up. They are turning into gorgeous little ladies:)
