Seven years ago today (dang, really - seven?!)

On this day back in 2006, after 13 months of waiting and hoping, we got the most incredibly shocking news ever – we were going to be the parents of twins. Happy referral anniversary to the whole family. Ro and Ree, we’ll never forget seeing your precious faces for the first time as that email from our agency slowwwwwwwly opened.

Truly an epic day (read about it here).

Little did we know the fun (and craziness) would just amp up from there.

  5. Happy Anniversary! The girls are looking so grown up lately! Is it just me or do they look very different from each other in this photo? Who is who in this one? Ro in stripes? I think they look very different from each other, but still get them mixed up if that makes any sense.

    1. Thanks MaLeah!
And yes, makes total sense!! I feel the same way about all the twins we know - they look different to me but that doesn't mean I can remember who's who. Oh, and yes Ro is in the striped top in this one.

Darn you M3. Every time I watch that video, as soon as your mom reacts I start crying! I remember watching all those years ago and am so happy for all the joy and fun your beautiful girls have brought you. Even though I thought it would be amazing it seems even better that one could have dreamed.

Oh so fun to see those videos! Oh my goodness! The telling your parents made me cry! What a great reaction!

I wish we had those with the adoptions in my family! What a treasure that you have the tapes of it!

And I agree with the comment above about the girls looking so old in the most recent photos - wow! And I can't get over how much they look like their referral pictures now seeing them with them!
