Ro came to me this morning and fastened her brand-new handmade Christmas necklace around my neck. "This is for me? I get to wear it?! Aw thank you." So sweet. But then she looked through my jewelry and held up the sparkly diamond flower necklace TubaDad got me. "And I get to wear this one of yours." Hm.

Hmm. I might have said, "I don't think so unless you are standing in front of me." But she could get a fake diamond and make a similar necklace :).

ReplyDeletewhat cherished little girl has NOT done something like that? <3 A1
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! Did you let her wear it to school?! I can remember wearing my mom's & grandmother's jewelry about that age but with the rule that I was not allowed to take it off myself or let anyone else wear it! Apparently, another friend of mine let a girl "borrow" her mother's real bracelet at school, she took it home, & it disappeared.
ReplyDeleteLove it that's precious and sweet!!!
