They're pretty good at this non-verbal communication

We attached a little red bowl to the fireplace mantel with museum putty and keep it filled with Cheerios so the girls can stick them up their noses snack on them at will. It's been there for months now and has worked like a charm (we thought).

Apparently they would prefer something else in the bowl and have decided to make their preferences VERY clear with a clever use of their favorite toy.

Any questions? Yeah me neither. Sigh...
