Can you believe she named the animal after a puke bucket?

Yes it's true, sweet little Ree has named her adorable fluffy stuffed duck "Orange Bucket" in honor of her "bestest" puke bucket. Honestly, the things these kids come up with. I can't keep a straight face when she shouts "Where's Orange Bucket?" and Ro answers "Over here, by da couch, see?" and they run and grab the little ducky with the dubious moniker and shower him with hugs and kisses. It's just too much. Introducing... Ree's new buddy Thanks for all the fun name guesses in the below post. There were so many funny answers, but Pamster nailed it with the winning answer of: How about "Bucket" for the puke bucket that seems to be an ever present part of their play these days. Regardless, they are both cute as can be. Congratulations! Please email me (addy in sidebar) with your address and choice of prizes. I tried to take a pic of the stunning orange bucket for this post, by the way, and couldn't find the dang thing. (!!!) It's either lost, which would be extremely tragic, or the girls have hidden it somewhere. I'll keep looking (or frantically try to find a secret replacement). In the meantime, here's a shot of Ree watching tv and clutching her bucket back in July when the stomach scourge decimated our house.

  6. So funny! How refreshing to find your blog. Being a Texan myself, your blog title caught my eye when I saw it on a friend's blog list! I enjoyed 'getting to know' ya'll from past posts. I laughed heartily at the Metamucil morning, Monkeys on Scooters, and Ducks named puke bucket! What a wonderful life God has blessed you with!
