Fashion Friday (and daddy's home) -- a big day!

DSC_5837LRs Ahhhhhhhh, TubaDad is finally back and all three girls are supremely happy about it. In honor of the occasion, Ree and Ro got to eat their traditional celebratory Daddy's Home breakfast of sugary cereal (wheeeeee!). Ro chose Froot Loops and Ree chose Apple Jacks. It's also Fashion Friday, so this photo shows them in outfits they chose themselves. Ro picked out a Hello Kitty tee that TubaDad brought her as a souvenir from Japan about a year ago, a multistriped skirt from Crazy8, the new legwarmers I got her from BabyLegs (these ones are the softest things ever, they're made of some new sweater-like material), and her pink Walmart shoes that match Ree's and make her happy. Ree assembled a head-to-toe Gymboree outfit that I don't know if she's ever actually worn before but described exactly while she was hunting for the pieces in the closet, and her yellow Walmart shoes. Little cuties. After naps today, we're going to tackle those pumpkins. Can't wait!

They have great taste and style. Do the girls ever try to style you, tuba dad and others?
    Take care, Lin

  2. Hi Lin,
They haven't yet turned an eye towards us, although Ree does try to tell Ro what to wear on occasion (with very limited success). :-)

  12. I don't know if I have mentioned it before but if you go on ebay you can get leg warmers for so cheap! They are like $4 a pair and so cute! A lot of them are the same ones you can buy in the store for $10-$14, some of them are Baby Legs and some are other brands but it is really worth checking out. The lady we bought ours from was so awesome she shipped them out with in 8 hours of our order and we got them in a few days.
