Friday Fashion (dang they're bright)
It's Fashion Friday, time to check in on the looks that make the four-year-olds (and me) smile. Today the outfits they chose were so bright and happy that I swear they look like the kids in that Gap Kids Cheerleading commercial that's running right now (have you seen it?).
Ro picked a blue fleece top and pink scarf and shoes, and Ree chose a Christmassy red and green ensemble. She wasn't quite happy that we didn't have any red shoes, but said the pink ones would do since she had some pink in her tights. Both wanted braids.
Right before they left for school today, they ransacked the jacket basket and found these hats that they simply HAD to wear. My mom made them last year to go with their cute little red/pom pom fleece jackets.
Oh, and this picture is for the commenter who asked whether we had the Nutcrackers out this season. Oh yes, they were the first Christmas decoration that the girls unpacked. They picked out two new ones this year and begged my mom to buy them: Ro chose the Fourth of July nutcracker and Ree chose the giant rat. Hmm, I'm only seeing 11 nutcrackers in the picture, so we must be missing one somewhere (each girl gets one each time we buy them, so we wouldn't ever have an odd number).

They are super cute. I've seen and LOVE that gap commercial! The marketing company did a excellent job with that one.
ReplyDeleteAlways cute....and love the picture with the Nutcrackers. Let us know what happened to the 12th one.
ReplyDeleteSo, I guess that snow melted from the other day?
Now that's an adorable picture! I love Ro and Ree's Fashion Fridays. My husband even has to see the selections each week. No matter what, Ro and Ree always bring cheer.
ReplyDeleteI love that giant rat nutcracker, but of course Ro and Ree make me smile the most. I love their infectious joy.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of the girls!!! They do look like they could be in the gap commercial......they would totally steal the spotlight though:)
ReplyDeleteThe hats are adorable!!
Happy Weekend!!

I see 12! Look at the bases of the nutcrackers. Can you tell I play a lot of hide and seek picture games with my girls? LOL

I only count 10. Please count them and let us know who is losing their eyesight . lol lol
ReplyDeleteI love their choices :) I still let my daughter pick out her own clothes (except for church!!) I love watching her love it when she is done :)
ReplyDeleteI love those jackets by the way!
I think you need to get some red shoes....
ReplyDeleteThe girls do look just like the G@p commercial! That's Miya's favorite commercial right now- she calls it "her" sweater show :)
ReplyDeleteNot me, I'm seeing 10. Are the girls 5 or 6?

HAve you found the missing mutcracker yet? The girls are so cute and look how they have grown. In the world of white we are living in, I love their bright colors! Happiness!!
ReplyDeleteadorable, as always :O) hope you find the escaped nutcracker!
ReplyDeleteI think these girls are just plain awesome. And, what's more, they've owned their awesomeness, and they dress it all up in cute outfits. I like that in a girl.
