Friday Fashion (dang they're bright)

It's Fashion Friday, time to check in on the looks that make the four-year-olds (and me) smile. Today the outfits they chose were so bright and happy that I swear they look like the kids in that Gap Kids Cheerleading commercial that's running right now (have you seen it?). Ro picked a blue fleece top and pink scarf and shoes, and Ree chose a Christmassy red and green ensemble. She wasn't quite happy that we didn't have any red shoes, but said the pink ones would do since she had some pink in her tights. Both wanted braids. DSC_9115LR We YUV Gilroy Gardens when it's emptyRight before they left for school today, they ransacked the jacket basket and found these hats that they simply HAD to wear. My mom made them last year to go with their cute little red/pom pom fleece jackets. DSC_9124LR Oh, and this picture is for the commenter who asked whether we had the Nutcrackers out this season. Oh yes, they were the first Christmas decoration that the girls unpacked. They picked out two new ones this year and begged my mom to buy them: Ro chose the Fourth of July nutcracker and Ree chose the giant rat. Hmm, I'm only seeing 11 nutcrackers in the picture, so we must be missing one somewhere (each girl gets one each time we buy them, so we wouldn't ever have an odd number).

  15. I think these girls are just plain awesome. And, what's more, they've owned their awesomeness, and they dress it all up in cute outfits. I like that in a girl.
