(Putting up a few back posts with unedited pics since I’m behind...)
Ro and Ree were so excited for Hannah and Catherine’s arrival on Thursday night. They woke up immediately ready to play with their friend and then asked me about 150 times during the day WHEN they would finally get here.
I thought Hannah might be a little overwhelmed or exhausted from a hard day of travel. Yeah, not so much. The tiny mite jumped right in to all the fun Ro and Ree had planned without a moment’s hesitation. I jokingly said to Catherine that I think she was in that pink car (and grinning like mad) within three minutes after they pulled up in our driveway.
The girls immediately brought out one of their most prized possessions (their lyrics binder) and tried to teach Hannah “I See the Light” from Tangled. Might need to work on that one a bit more:
Hi friend, it’s so good to see you!!!:
The amount of running, giggling, and playing was hilarious. It was like :
Little Ree takes her helper role quite seriously. She was trying to help Hannah up on the bed here, and seconds after the shutter clicked actually flipped Hannah into the air and facedown on the bed. Oops.:
The girls had made welcome banners for C&H’s room and a welcome message on the chalkboard. I think Hannah is grading their handwriting technique here:
Fun stuff.

I think it would be difficult for Catherine and Hannah to feel any more welcome-- I'm glad everyone is having such a good time!
ReplyDeleteLyrics Binder?! That is the cutest thing ever! What kind of songs are in there?
ReplyDeleteThey must be great readers.
