Maybe we’ll try to squeeze it in this week. Need to add that authentic mall-Santa picture to our collection. The girls did visit Macy’s to drop Santa a little note, however.
And in case he needs more clarification, Ro penned this:
Hope Santa comes through with something spectacular...
The pixie dust thing almost made me spit Dr. Pepper on my keyboard. :-) And we haven't done our official Santa visit yet, either. Looks like it is going to have to wait until the kids are off for Christmas break.
ReplyDeleteWhenever you do it, the girls will enjoy the Santa visit.
ReplyDeleteYour blog looks great.
Ma
love the updated masthead!
ReplyDeletewas concerned that maybe everyone was still sick.
Looks like you need to plant a pixie dust tree in your backyard...they grow in California, right?
ReplyDeleteGreat letters!!!
Jennie
Great pixie dust letters, looks like anything with wings is a hit at your house. We haven't seen the man in red yet either, waiting for the break from school. Nice updated header, do you do your own?
ReplyDeleteSophie & Sage wish Ree & Ro a Merry Christmas!
Too, too sweet! Love their notes to Santa!
ReplyDeleteWow... this whole school thing is cramping their Santa style! Sure hope you get to see the man in red soon.
Love the new look!!
Ok, I'm glad to hear we're not the only ones who haven't done THE Santa visit yet. Which reminds me, need to get out those cute Santa pics from years past and put them around the fireplace.
ReplyDeleteDianne, thanks! And yes I do my own headers. I've got it down so I just open the last header's Photoshop file, pull in new pics, and change the color on the nav bar. Easy peasy, don't know why I don't do it more often!
Pixie dust, eh? Linhsey asked for a dog and wanted to know the other night if it would be in a big bag under the tree when she woke up Christmas morning. Yeah, I'm frantically looking for a dog now! lol
ReplyDeleteThe notes to Santa are too cute! I hope Ro and Ree get real pixie dust for Christmas and share a little with me. Love the new header too! Love, Aunt Jane
ReplyDeleteSTill trying for that Pixie Dust!
ReplyDeleteJust in case Santa needs a little assistance in the pixie dust department ;)

Speaking of pixie dust...I just did a survey for crayola, not sure if its out yet but the product was glow in the dark sand that you sprinkle around outside. Reminded me of pixie dust. I think I might have seen some at Kmart. http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=crayola+glow+sand&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=2817449997064505338&sa=X&ei=BCDqToWzJ6ShiQKKxLHXBA&ved=0CGwQ8wIwBA (wow, long!) Quick search says it might be at Toys R Us.
ReplyDelete-Heather
hah! so if they get the pixie dust are they expecting to a) grow wings or b) fly or c) BOTH??
ReplyDeletemaybe best bet is to come up with a touchy feely story on why no pixie dust is forthcoming?
Those two are so cute! I guess if the pixie dust doesn't arrive but the barbie with wings does, someone will do some flying! :)
ReplyDeleteAre the girls still heavy into the nutcrackers or has that obsession faded?
ReplyDeleteMelissa, they were happy to see the Nutcrackers come out of the Christmas box, and put them all on the stairs, but haven't really given them any love since. I think their Elf on the Shelf gets all the Ro and Ree attention this year.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a pretty tall order for the man in red!
ReplyDeleteMy girls asked for a pool (they're not going to get that, either!).
