Bringing in the big guns

TubaDad and I aren’t as fast as the girls (much to their chagrin), so for tonight’s walk we brought in the family runner (BobBob), along with Wela and Uncle Bobby.

Hm, it didn’t look promising at the beginning:

But BobBob stuck with them on the hills:

And then he proved that he had more endurance:

But he was pelted with bunnies for his supreme efforts.

I had to laugh when the girls took off running the other direction to pick flowers and TubaDad tried to air count them from a distance (didn’t work):

We did manage to stop the girls long enough for a fun grandparent shot (they’re wearing their latest WelaWear, by the way):DSC_3068-Edit-EditLR

And then we slowed down the walk a bit (phew):DSC_3086LR

Showed BobBob and Wela what bunnyball was all about:

And headed for home:

    1. Lori, hit up your local 2nd-hand stores to find old t-shirts with prints. They simply don't make/sell that fabric near us. You'll want the 100% cotton non-stretch, thick -- the kind they make guys t-shirts out of. Oh, and my mom finds alot of the cool detailed tops (for the upper part of the dresses) at Walmart, Target, or Kohls.

  11. I love that first pic where you can see "stop" painted on the ground yet you can see the action of the girls running. Totally hillarious!

    1. Sadly no... she says she just doesn't have time. You will see new dresses for the 4th of July (Ro, Ree, and Hannah). She's sewing madly on those before a month-long antique car trip.

  14. Great pictures! The second-to-last one makes me miss my home in the East Bay even more. Connecticut (where I live now) is beautiful, but there's something special about those Bay Area hills!
