Today, August 28, is the spine-tingling anniversary of the best day in the world -- the day we received our referral. It's hard to imagine that any day will ever top that one for wild adrenalin highs, Imodium-popping suspense, and floating-in-the-air giddiness. I know we'll never forget that day for the rest of our lives. Man oh man, what a day, what a day. To relive that wonderful time, I've been re-reading all of the posts and comments about our referral:

Ro and Ree -- you beautiful funny smart impish larger-than-life sweethearts -- we love you so much and are the luckiest parents in the world to have you in our lives. Now I can't write any more, because looking at your baby pictures and seeing how fast you're growing up has made me all weepy and I need to go get some (more) icecream and calm down.
